The 38th edition of the Téléthon kicked off on November 29 across France, with volunteers aiming to raise over 92.9 million euros to support medical research on genetic and rare diseases. By Saturday evening, more than 34 million euros in pledges had already been collected. France Télévisions, in partnership with Radio France and under the sponsorship of singer Mika, is running a 30-hour broadcast to encourage donations.
