France to Implement New Measures Against Domestic Violence, Announced by Prime Minister Michel Barnier
Prime Minister Michel Barnier is set to unveil new measures to combat violence against women on International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women. Key initiatives include the option to file complaints in all emergency and gynecological hospitals in France by the end of 2025, and increased emergency funding for women fleeing violence. Additional training programs will also be introduced for police, lawyers, and doctors to better support victims.
