French agricultural unions are reigniting protests against the controversial EU-Mercosur trade agreement, set to increase competition for local farmers. Union leaders, including FNSEA’s Arnaud Rousseau and Coordination rurale’s Patrick Legras, warn that the deal could exacerbate existing economic tensions and jeopardize farmer incomes.
