On December 11, farmers from the Coordination Rurale blocked part of the Toulouse-Nord toll on the A62 to protest against the EU-MERCOSUR agreement. The protesters accused the agreement of creating unfair competition and raised their concerns by checking foreign truck loads. In Dijon, they targeted government offices with demonstrations involving tractors. Over the past week, around 30 such offices have been affected across France, and tensions escalated with additional police interventions after some members were arrested for earlier disturbances.
