French Journalist Olivier Todd Passes Away at 95
Olivier Todd, the renowned French journalist and author best known for his award-winning biography of Albert Camus, has died at the age of 95. Todd’s son, historian Emmanuel Todd, confirmed his father’s passing, which occurred overnight on Friday. Born in 1929 near Paris, Todd contributed to major outlets like BBC and Le Nouvel Observateur during the Vietnam War and later worked as deputy director of L’Express. He authored several biographies, including those of Jacques Brel and AndrĂ© Malraux.
