After eight years since the collapse of the Agiasos Reading Room Theatre stage, which fell under the weight of snow, the Greek Minister of Migration has signed funding of €1.44 million for its restoration. The project is set to be auctioned in January 2025 with an expected completion time of 24 months. The Reading Room, a historic cultural institution established in 1894, has been advocating for this restoration, which was hindered by legal ownership issues.
