Eastern Macedonia and Thrace is set to launch a funding program worth 20 million euros aimed at enhancing healthcare infrastructure and equipment. Regional Governor Christodoulos Topshidis discussed the initiative during a meeting with the Commander of the 4th Health Region, Panagiotis Boyatzidis. The program will use EU funding to modernize hospitals and health centers, based on the identified needs from consultations with local health authorities, emphasizing the collaboration between the regional government and health sector leadership.
