The funding for the new municipal swimming pool in Serres has been officially secured, following an extension to the programmatic agreement. Deputy Minister of Education, Religious Affairs, and Sports Ioannis Vroutsis announced the completion of the project study, with construction expected to finish by late 2028. The total budget for the project stands at €6.45 million, with assurances for continued funding and a revised timeline. Mayor Varvara Mitliagka expressed confidence in the project’s successful completion.
