Rosaleen ‘Rosie’ McKinney, an 86-year-old campaigner for mother and baby home survivors, has died in Dublin. A survivor of the Tuam Mother and Baby Home, McKinney faced severe mistreatment and spoke out against the injustices endured by mothers and children. Her funeral will be held after lying in repose at her family home in Cabra. McKinney is remembered for her courage and the impact of her advocacy for those affected by similar experiences.
