The six-day mourning ceremony for former U.S. President Jimmy Carter concludes today with his state funeral at the National Cathedral in Washington. President Joe Biden, who will deliver the eulogy as requested by Carter, will be joined by former President Donald Trump, alongside other living presidents. Following the ceremony, Carter’s remains will return to Plains, Georgia, for a private burial. The day has been declared a national day of mourning, and flags will be flown at half-staff for 30 days. Carter passed away on December 29 at the age of 100.
