A 70-year-old gallery owner and a 62-year-old painter have been remanded in custody in Thessaloniki following their testimonies regarding a case involving forged artworks. The 42-year-old daughter of the gallery owner was released on conditional terms. Authorities are also in search of another individual who allegedly provided the gallery with the forged pieces meant for auction, amid a review of over 500 confiscated artworks that may also be counterfeit.
