Recent gang violence in Haiti has resulted in the brutal killings of at least 110 elderly individuals accused of witchcraft. The violence, attributed to gang leader Monel Felix, also known as Mikano, was fueled by the death of his son, which he linked to local voodoo practitioners. These killings took place in the Port-au-Prince neighborhood of Cité Soleil, marking one of the deadliest incidents this year as the UN reports a staggering 5,000 deaths linked to gang violence in the country.
