A German federal prosecutor has charged an Iraqi couple arrested in Bavaria with enslaving two Yazidi girls in Iraq and Syria. They face allegations of terrorism, severe violence against minors, genocide, and war crimes. The couple, identified as members of the Islamic State from October 2015 to December 2017, allegedly purchased and exploited the girls, subjecting them to rape, forced labor, and abuse. The case will be decided by the Munich Higher Regional Court.
