The police noted that calls for attacking these embassies have circulated on the messaging platform Telegram. Though specific threats to German diplomatic missions were not confirmed, the situation raised alarms due to Germany’s support for Israel. Earlier in October, police thwarted a planned attack against the Israeli embassy in Berlin, leading to the arrest of a suspect linked to terrorist communications.
