The iconic 600-kilogram artwork in the shape of a man’s bicycle has been stolen from the Veluwe aan Zee recreation area in Putten. Discovered missing by Leisurelands, the artwork was installed twenty years ago and is noted for its massive size and accessibility challenges. The management has filed a police report and expresses disappointment over the theft, recalling a prior incident in 2012 when the bike was also taken temporarily by event organizers.
