Government Absent as Italian Parliament Session Suspended

The Italian Chamber of Deputies began a sparsely attended session focused on the budget law, but was interrupted due to the government’s absence. Deputies Marco Grimaldi from Avs and Benedetto Della Vedova from +E protested this absence, calling it a serious institutional issue. Grimaldi emphasized the gravity of empty government seats and demanded the Prime Minister be summoned. Following their protests, session president Fabio Rampelli temporarily suspended the session due to the government’s absence.
