Government Delay in Connecting Deskati to E65 Highway Raises Concerns
Kalliopi Vetta, a member of parliament from the leftist SYRIZA party, has accused the Greek government of misleading residents about the connection of Deskati to the E65 highway. In her inquiry to the Minister of Infrastructure, she highlighted the lack of funding and significant delays in project consultations. Vetta criticized the government’s failure to provide adequate justification for the estimated costs of the connection, which range between 60 to 80 million euros, and the vague timeline for the implementation of the project.
