On December 2, 2024, a governmental delegation led by Secretary of Natural Disaster Recovery and State Aid, Petros Kampouris, visited flood-affected areas in Lemnos. The team aimed to coordinate responses to urgent needs and evaluate damages caused by recent severe weather. A meeting was held with local officials, including former Minister Charalambos Athanasiou and other key regional leaders, to discuss state assistance measures for restoring infrastructure and supporting affected households and businesses.
