Greek Deputy Foreign Minister Georgios Kotsiras highlighted the importance of cultural diplomacy and the role of the Greek diaspora in promoting Hellenic culture during the conference ‘Cultural Horizons – Regional Development and Cultural Diplomacy’ held at the National Gallery. He outlined the collaboration between the Foreign and Culture Ministries to strengthen cultural ties and enhance Greece’s international image. Initiatives include coordinated events showcasing Greek language and culture, expanding educational programs for diaspora youth, and reinforcing Greek Studies positions abroad. Kotsiras stated, ‘Culture is our strength’ and is pivotal to national diplomatic efforts.
