Greece Extends Tax and Insurance Postponements for Flood Victims
The Greek government has announced a two-month extension of tax and insurance payment suspensions for those affected by extreme flooding in September 2023, bringing the total suspension period to 18 months. The announcement was made by Deputy Minister for Climate Crisis and Civil Protection, Christos Triantopoulos, detailing plans for managing accumulated financial obligations, including a future regulation for repaying debts in 72 installments starting June 2025.
