Greece Faces Digital Skill Gap Amid Job Market Evolution
By 2030, over 60% of jobs in Greece will require specialized digital skills, according to the Greek Association of Vocational Training Centers. In a press conference leading up to a national conference on vocational training, experts highlighted the necessity for improved training programs to boost employment and economic development. Although initiatives for apprenticeships are increasing, significant improvements are still needed to match learning models seen in countries like Germany. Strengthening vocational training is essential not only for enhancing productivity but also for reducing social inequalities and fostering innovation in the economy.
