Starting November 15, vehicle immobilization processes in Greece will be conducted digitally, eliminating the need for license plates or physical documents. This change, announced by Digital Governance Minister Dimitris Papastergiou and AADE Governor Giorgos Pitsilis, applies to vehicles involved in theft, seizure, or belonging to deceased owners. Citizens can utilize the ‘My Requests’ digital portal, with further information available through the Taxpayer Service Center. The new method aims to streamline the process and enhance efficiency for vehicle owners.
