Greece Introduces National Action Plan for Demographics with €20 Billion Budget
Greece has become the first EU member state to draft a National Action Plan for Demographics, featuring a budget of €20 billion. Minister of Social Cohesion and Family, Sophia Zacharakis, highlighted key initiatives, including the ‘My Home II’ housing program and measures to support youth and women’s employment. The plan aims to address demographic challenges facing both developed and less developed countries within Europe, ensuring policies that benefit all citizens and support family structures.
