On November 4, 2024, Greece initiated the selection process for over 600 green skills training programs aimed at 75,000 workers, funded by the EU under the ‘Greece 2.0’ recovery plan. Participants, categorized by their educational background, will undergo 80 hours of theoretical training and can receive up to 400 euros in educational benefits after passing assessments conducted by independent bodies. This initiative aims to align training with labor market needs within the context of the country’s green transition.
