The Greek Ministry of Environment and Energy has signed a joint ministerial decision for the ‘Change Heating System and Water Heater’ program, aimed at helping households install new solar water heaters and modern heat pump systems. Applications will be accepted online from January 8 to March 31, 2025, with subsidies of up to 60% based on income criteria. The program, funded by the European Union’s NextGeneration EU initiative, also focuses on enhancing energy efficiency and reducing reliance on fossil fuels.
