Greece Proposes Minimum Wage Legislation to Align with EU Directive
The Greek Ministry of Labor has presented a legislative proposal to the Parliament aimed at integrating the EU Directive 2022/2041, concerning sufficient minimum wages. The proposal focuses on ensuring adequate salaries that provide a decent standard of living, enhancing collective bargaining coverage, and promoting transparency in wage determination. The bill will be reviewed by the relevant parliamentary committee on November 26, 2024.
