Greece’s National Security Strategy Highlighted at Conference
During the conference ‘Metapolitefsi 1974-2024: 50 Years of Greek Foreign Policy’, Greek Defense Minister Nikos Dendias discussed Greece’s national security strategy and foreign policy challenges. He emphasized the importance of Greece’s EU and NATO participation, the need for dialogue with Turkey while addressing its aggressive demands, and highlighted military modernization plans, including anti-drone capabilities. Dendias also pointed out demographic concerns and the necessity for Greece to adopt a welcoming approach towards populations that embrace Greek culture.
