Greek Authorities Capture Notorious Fugitive Linked to Organized Crime
A 47-year-old Greek-Syrian fugitive, previously convicted by Greek courts for serious crimes including extortion and money laundering, has been apprehended by Greek authorities after living in Kosovo. His legal troubles date back to 2012 when he was sentenced to 36 years in prison for his involvement in a criminal organization that accumulated illicit profits of 2.5 million euros. After violating his release terms, he is now extradited to Greece to face justice.
