On November 3, the Greek Coast Guard apprehended a smuggler off the northern coast of Samos, where a boat carrying twenty-five migrants was located. The migrants were safely transported to Maliagari Port and later to the Samos Reception Center. The smuggler faces charges under Greek immigration laws due to the rising daily influx of migrants, which has pushed the current housing capacity at the center beyond 4,100 individuals, marking a critical and unmanageable situation.
