A 15-year-old student revealed she was sexually abused by her stepfather through a handwritten note, prompting a criminal investigation. The Mixed Jury Court of Thessaloniki sentenced the 43-year-old man to 11 years in prison for the abuse of a minor under 12. The accused had fled to the UK after the allegations surfaced but was extradited to Greece. Although he denied the charges, the court found the minor’s detailed account credible, leading to the conviction.
