Greek Defense Minister Nikos Dendias will attend the Epiphany water blessing ceremony in Chios. He plans to arrive by military aircraft on Monday morning and participate in the traditional blessing at the Metropolitan Church of Chios. Following the ceremony, he will observe the throwing of the Cross into the sea and visit a naval ship in the harbor. A lunch hosted by the Bishop of Chios will honor him later in the day.
