Greek Farmers in Evros and Rodopi Exempted from Tax Requirements for Compensation
Farmers in the Evros and Rodopi regions of Greece will no longer be required to provide tax and social security documentation to receive compensation for livestock losses due to sheep pox. Christodoulos Topshidis, the regional governor of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace, emphasized that this decision is a significant support measure for affected farmers, aimed at preventing the abandonment of livestock farming amidst the aftermath of recent wildfires.
