Farmers from Ilia County staged a symbolic protest at the Agricultural Economy Directorate in Pyrgos, following a meeting in Patras focused on issues within the olive farming sector. Key concerns discussed included last year’s low yields and the impact of recent droughts on this year’s crops. The protesting farmers, represented by the OASI union, announced plans to escalate their actions, including participation in a large rally on November 29 and a general strike on November 20, in solidarity with labor movements.
