Greek Farmers to Receive Compensation Amid Sheep Pox Outbreak
Farmers in the Evros and Rodopi regions who lost livestock due to sheep pox will be compensated without needing to provide tax and insurance certificates. This decision, announced by the Ministry of Rural Development, aims to support those affected by the livestock disease and prevent abandonment of the farming profession. Christodoulos Topidis, the regional governor, emphasized the importance of this assistance and expressed a commitment to continue advocating for farmers across Eastern Macedonia and Thrace.
