Stefanos Gikas, Deputy Minister of Maritime Affairs and Insular Policy, announced the allocation of approximately €2 million for critical renovations at the National Sports Center of Corfu. The funding includes the demolition of the grandstand, tartan resurfacing, installation of new natural grass, modern LED lighting, and renovations to a basketball court. This announcement follows months of work, and it is expected that more details will be shared by the Deputy Minister of Sports, Ioannis Vroutsis, in an upcoming visit to Corfu.
