Christos Triantopoulos, Greece’s Deputy Minister of Climate Crisis and Civil Protection, announced a funding of €1.5 million for the restoration of the coastal area of Agia Pelagia during his visit to the Municipality of Malevizi. Malevizi Mayor Menelaos Bokeas commended the ongoing collaboration with the ministry following recent disasters and highlighted ongoing studies for flood protection. Triantopoulos assured continued support for affected areas, stressing the importance of timely preparedness in securing funds for damage restoration.
