In a series of meetings at the headquarters in Thessaloniki, Yiannis Papageorgiou, the Coordinator of the Prime Minister’s Office, discussed with representatives from security and armed forces the government’s initiative to provide a risk allowance starting from July 1, 2025. It was emphasized that Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis recognizes the dangers faced by personnel in these sectors. Representatives expressed gratitude for the government’s response to their longstanding requests and discussed various sector-related issues.
