Greek Government Increases Aid for Vulnerable Families and Individuals

In a recent interview, Sophia Zacharaki, the Minister of Social Cohesion and Family, outlined new support measures for families and vulnerable citizens in Greece. Starting in the new year, the Minimum Guaranteed Income will rise from €216 to €250, alongside increases in housing and child benefits. An additional €200 emergency aid will be disbursed on December 20 for various beneficiaries, ensuring improved targeting, justice, and transparency in government support programs.
