A 31-year-old man in Greece has been sentenced to 13 months in prison, suspended, for threatening his 66-year-old father with a saw during a heated argument. The incident occurred last Sunday, after which the father called the police out of fear. The man claimed his actions were driven by anger and that he did not intend to follow through with the threats. Convicted of attempted domestic violence and insulting his father’s dignity, he has appealed the conviction and was released pending the appeal.
