The Greek Ministry of Culture is investing in improving visitor pathways and accessibility for people with disabilities at the Gortyna archaeological site, with a total budget of €2.5 million. The project aims to enhance safety, organization of viewing areas, and parking facilities while preserving significant ancient monuments. Minister Lina Mendoni emphasized the cultural and tourist potential of the site, alongside ongoing restoration efforts at the Great Theater of Ancient Gortyna.
