Mihalis Bekiris, director of the Greek Prime Minister’s Office in Macedonia, recently visited Imathia, accompanied by key officials, to explore significant cultural sites. His tour began at the new Aigai Museum, followed by visits to the Royal Tombs in Vergina and the ancient palace, which played a crucial role in Macedonia’s history. Bekiris also inspected the construction of a new administrative building and met with local religious leaders. He underscored the importance of enhancing local heritage sites to foster regional development.
