Greek Police Arrests Minor Gang in Chain Theft Incidents
The Greek police have arrested a gang of minors responsible for violent chain thefts in New Smyrna, Kallithea, and Alimo. Four minors, including two 14-year-olds and two 17-year-olds, were apprehended after stealing a necklace from a young victim at a tram stop. They managed to evade authorities initially by taking a bus to Kallithea, where they committed another theft. The police successfully identified and arrested the gang members, recovering the stolen chains. All suspects have been referred to the relevant prosecutor’s office.
