The Hellenic Police announced the dismantling of an art forgery ring in Thessaloniki that involved the sale of 930 counterfeit artworks, falsely attributed to famous Greek artists. Three individuals were arrested for allegedly auctioning these forgeries as genuine pieces. During the operation, additional counterfeit items and evidence related to their illicit activities were seized, including an air gun. The suspects face charges including organized crime, fraud, and forgery.
