The Hellenic Police, in collaboration with various European law enforcement agencies, participated in a joint operation named ‘Joint Action Day (JAD) Mobile 7’ aimed at combating organized crime related to property theft. From October 7 to 18, 2024, extensive vehicle and individual checks were conducted across Greece, resulting in the identification of 174 stolen and counterfeit vehicles, 135 irregular migrants, and 16 traffickers. The operation also uncovered illegal drugs weighing 13 grams, contributing to a larger European initiative coordinated by FRONTEX.
