Greek Police Implement Targeted Actions Against Crime and Domestic Violence

In a bid to combat crime, domestic violence, and juvenile delinquency, the Greek Police have launched a special action plan. From December 2 to December 8, 2024, police responded to 696 calls regarding domestic violence, leading to significant interventions including arrests and the distribution of Panic Button applications to victims. The initiatives also include targeted patrols in areas populated by youth to foster safety. Overall, extensive operations resulted in thousands of checks, arrests, and a variety of crimes being solved, all aimed at improving public safety and protecting vulnerable groups.
