Greek Police Implement Targeted Actions to Combat Crime and Domestic Violence
From December 23 to 29, 2024, the Greek Police executed a plan focused on crime prevention, combating domestic violence, and addressing juvenile delinquency, along with improving road safety. Police responded to 669 calls regarding domestic violence, issued a Panic Button to 106 victims, and arrested 255 individuals across 381 incidents. Traffic police conducted over 107,000 checks, resulting in over 25,000 violations marked, including illegal parking and speeding. Continued efforts aim to ensure safety for victims and vulnerable citizens.
