A criminal organization involved in trafficking foreign men for the purpose of exploiting their begging activities has been dismantled in Greece. The group, active since May 2021, targeted individuals facing various vulnerabilities, luring them with false promises of legitimate work in Athens. Four members, including the leader, were arrested during an operation in Attica, where police also discovered four victims. The organization reportedly manipulated victims into daily begging, retaining their earnings and travel documents.
