He asserted that the exclusion of members represents a crime against political rights and democracy. Oikonomou, who is transitioning to a new democratic movement led by Stefanos Kasselakis, emphasized the need to uphold the party’s founding principles. He also defended Kasselakis against accusations of financial misconduct, insisting all matters related to his past business dealings have been resolved.
