Students from the Gymnasium of Agios Efstratios received the first prize in the national relay race ‘Run for Unity’ during the 11th National School Sports Day and European Sports Week. The event featured Olympic and Paralympic champions presenting awards to 273 participating schools. The General Secretary of Sports, Georgios Mavrotas, emphasized the importance of integrating sports into schools and the values it teaches, highlighting collaboration and community as essential themes of the initiative.
