For the second time in three years, Rita Kitsiou clinched a bronze medal at the European U21 Taekwondo Championships, held in Sarajevo. Following her success in 2022 in Tirana, Kitsiou secured her place on the podium in the +73 kg category, marking the first medal for the Greek team in the competition. Kitsiou, who recently placed 9th at the Women’s European Championship and is currently ranked 37th globally, achieved three consecutive victories before facing a defeat in the semifinals.
